The Office of the State Treasurer of Wisconsin handles Unclaimed Property,promotes Edvest – Wisconsin’s 529 College Savings Plan, and the Local Government Investment Pool.

The State Treasurer is one of five statewide elected offices in the State of Wisconsin, serving a four-year term. The State Treasurer sits on several boards including the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands, The Wisconsin College Savings Board, the Treasurer’s Advisory Committee, and the Wisconsin Insurance Securities Fund.
