Treasury Fun Fact of the Day:
In 2012, the Office of the State Treasurer was responsible for placing back into the hands of Wisconsin people and business owners a RECORD $35.9 Million. That’s a significant chunk of cash infusing Wisconsin’s economy and all without costing the taxpayers a dime. You see, OST operates off of revenue generated from its programs AND contributes to the general fund as well as other public serving funds. We don’t take from taxpayers’ pockets, we fill them with CASH! It’s a Win-Win!
